New CPM Graphic Ads are coming!
March 19th, 2008
The feedback we received after announcing the upcoming CPM Chitika Graphic Ads Revenue Optimization Service was excellent. Publishers are very excited about Chitika offering more revenue-generating options for their website(s) and we are happy to be able to offer our publishers so many revenue choices.
This new service is designed to help publishers earn more revenue. The Chitika ad on your page will display a relevant and targeted banner/graphic ad on your page only when it makes sense - when it can earn you more revenue.
“When will banner/graphic ads start showing on my pages?”
This service is coming soon. Graphic ads will pay per impression (CPM) and will be shown only when they can earn you more revenue than a CPC-based ad.
“Will there be any reason I won’t see graphic ads?”
Yes, if your website is not yet included in our service or your current CPC ad campaigns are already doing well.
“Why am I seeing Graphic ads? Can I opt out?”
If you are seeing Graphic ads on your pages it is because our system dynamically selected your site for CPM ads that can earn you higher revenue than a CPC ad. To opt-out of this service, login to your Chitika account and opt-out in your Account settings.
This will be coming out soon, everyone! Please share your comments or concerns below. We love feedback; it’s how we are able to cater to our publishers :)

Really cool, “Family Picture”! YET, where are the older yuppies? I’m about your age (per pictures) and being Hispanic, I KNOW alot of wisdom, experience, etc. can be used to correct mistakes before they happen, etc… Just a thought….PLUS, who do you think is paying for the younger kids. You’re possibly leaving out a whole section of buying power.
Anyway, cool picture!

Do we have to sign up for this or we are automatically included?
March 21st, 2008 at 12:06 pm
Hi Lalaine,
All Chitika publishers are automatically included in this no need to sign up. You will see these new ads if they can do better in revenue for you than the CPC ads like eMiniMalls etc.

Yeah, some of them are now showing up but the question is that all ads showing $0.00 and only 160×600 showing real price. Are the rest are FREE of charge?

Hi Tinh,
I am not quite sure what your question is above, could you please send me an email to karla (at) chitika (dot) com so we can go into more detail on this? Thanks.

I have no comment about this program coz not yet try to use it.
I think, the fresh idea is domain parking from chitika, though I still try it to use in my website :)

Great…is there any way (branding or advertise here link) to identify the chitika CPM? Because many of us use the script rotation (when the other network does not have any ad to serve)

Ajith

[…] Today I got an email from chitika, said that CPM Graphic Banners have officially been integrated into my sites, and the results are excellent as as there is an immediate increase in revenue across the board. As you may remember from our blog post on this, we are incorporating these ads when we know that we will be able to make you more money with a CPM ad than our standard ad units. For example, if you are in Canada, and viewing a page with a Chitika ad on it, we will most likely show you a CPM Graphic banner because we are seeing more revenue from graphic ads for Canadian traffic. Can we set it to only display CPM graphic ads? And are they enabled for Australia? Thanks.
April 29th, 2008 at 9:30 pm
This is great. They are coming up on my site, http://psdirect.blogspot.com
They don’t seem to be very relevant. Is it always going to be irrelevant or does the system just take some time to take in the keywords. Thing is, if it’s not relevant, I might have to drop out…
