Software Engineer at Chitika
At Chitika your skills will be challenged, while having fun. We are looking for bright engineers that want to learn, think outside the box, and accomplish interesting goals. We keep development cycles are short, as we are interested in developing great products for people to use now. Employees are Chitika’s greatest asset, and we look forward to adding more to our growing team.
We work on scalability issues, usability issues (how to best show our products), parsing large amounts of data, and intelligently serving the top products for each impression.
What Chitika is looking for:
* Excellent programming skills and the ability to learn new languages
* The ability to thrive in small teams, and communicate well with others
* Passion about coding and working with other great colleagues
* The ability to analyze problems from multiple angles
The ideal candidate has:
* A strong engineering background developing applications
* Strong familiarity with Linux
* 3 to 5+ years of programming experience

* LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) knowledge
* Familiarity with mod_perl
* Python Knowledge
* Have experience with AJAX
* Experience with web development
* A degree in Computer Science or a related field

Sales Representative Role
We are growing at a tremendous pace and we are looking to expand our sales/publisher recrutiment team at our Marlborough headquarters. This position will be an important part of our continued growth!
What this job is about:
* Acquire new publishers to use Chitika’s award winning publisher products
* Close leads generated by marketing programs and your own outbound efforts
* Work with client services to assist in launching new publishers
* Assist your publisher base in optimizing their advertising revenue streams
What is required of you:
* An established history of above quota sales success selling differentiated B-B services in a highly competitive market
* Strong desire to succeed
* Knowledge and experience in online advertising is a definite plus.
