Online Sales Rep - Marlborough MA

What this job is about:
- Close leads (both warm and cold) and generate signups to the chitika publisher program. (See: http://chitika.com/publishers.php)
- You will be closing warm leads that are generated by the lead gen team. In addition, you will also reach out (cold calling, social networking, etc) to our target list
What is required of you:
- Atleast 2 years experience selling in an online environment (so: email, phone, social networking, etc)
- Clear understanding on online sales processes (Salesforce.com, Webex, etc). You know how to close sales remotely — which is very different from meeting someone in person
- You ability to generate warm leads yourself is a huge plus.

Software Engineer - Marlborough MA

- You will be a key software engineer powering the backend infrastructure for Chitika’s advertising system
- If you are familiar with Google Adwords (Google’s advertising system — NOT the search engine), this role involves something similar. You will be working on a similar infrastructure at Chitika.
How do you know if you will love this job:
- You got an "A" in your Operating Systems class and love everything to do with large scale distributed web systems
- You wish you were the guy working on designing and developing the infrastructure at companies like Twitter, Digg and Google (PS: Take a deep breath and think about what that infrastructure will look like)
What is required of you:
- A Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science (NOT applications) — This is REQUIRED
- You are a rock-star when it comes to operating systems, web-based distributed systems, etc — AND have significant experience to prove it
- Other usual stuff like: ability to code, good software engineering practices, scripting, mysql, etc.

- You will be rep’ing the chitika publisher recruitment for the western region (specially Bay Area and Los Angeles). This will involve online and face-to-face interaction with sites on our target list (as well as leads that you will generate via your rolodex, conferences, etc)
What is required of you:
- Atleast 2 years experience selling in an online environment (so: email, phone, social networking, etc)
- Clear understanding on online sales processes (Salesforce.com, Webex, etc). You know how to close sales remotely as well as move enterprise sales via face-to-face interaction.
- Previous experience dealing with internet publishers is a huge plus.
