Chitika Adds VP Publisher Sales as Roster of Online Advertisers Expands
E-commerce veteran Jeff Sable will ensure Chitika’s online advertisers are reaching the Web’s most influential online publishers, especially key bloggers
Marlborough, MA. — January 22, 2008 — Chitika, a leader in online branding and advertising, today announced that Jeff Sable has joined the management team as vice president of publisher sales. Sable, who brings extensive experience helping Fortune 1000 brands solidify their e-commerce strategies, will further expand Chitika’s roster of leading online publishers, especially top 500 bloggers, to meet growing demand from its advertisers for more varied online branding and advertising opportunities.

As VP of publisher sales, Sable will lead all aspects of Chitika’s publisher recruitment efforts. He brings to Chitika a proven track record of developing, implementing and managing successful sales, affiliate recruitment and management strategies for large on-line advertising and affiliate networks.

Prior to joining Chitika, Sable was vice president of sales for Mall Networks, a leading provider of online malls and loyalty shopping solutions. Before Mall Networks, he served in senior sales management roles at LiveVault and Be Free. At Be Free Sable built a team that sold affiliate marketing services and technologies to hundreds of the Web’s leading merchants through a network that featured more than 10,000 publishers. He also assisted with Be Free’s eventual merger with ValueClick and the subsequent consolidation of Be Free and Commission Junction.
Sable holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the Boston University College of Engineering.
