Hi there
I've been moderately happy with Chitika ads - and was thinking of adding more.
Now I notice that the ads are appearing on my site in the UK- as well as everywhere else, presumably. Not only that, they seem to advertise nothing but Apple ipods!
I don't know what's changed. I haven't changed the code I'm using. This seems to be happening on all my Chitika ads, even ones I added months ago!
What is happening? I'll have to remove the lot as this has no real relevance for my site - unless this is cleared up.
Thanks,
Rona from www.greenfootsteps.com

Nops, it didn't work, the chikita plugin "killed" the other ad, just a blank space left, but no ads displaying. So again, what is the best method to achieve this:
Chitika Ad (only visible to US/CA search traffic) on top, between post title and post body AND Other Ad (adsense / amazon and the like) as an inline ad embedded in the top left corner of the post body?
At the moment it works fine here: http://hospitalera.com/ as long as the Chitika ad is NOT showing up, i.e., to normal / regular visitors. As soon as the chitika ad is shown to search traffic the layout gets messed up. SY

Hi hospitalera, Sorry for the delay here. I am not sure if I entirely understand what's going on here, but I will tell you what I think could be the issue. First, I am seeing the Chitika Premium ad at the top just fine. I am not sure if you are not seeing it because you're unaware that our ads will only display to your search traffic (meaning, you will not see it just by going to your site). If so, you can preview a sample of the ad by adding the following text to the end of your url: http://hospitalera.com/7-useful-social-networking-sites-for-photographers/#chitikatest=photographersIf you are having trouble with the plugin you are using, you would have to contact the developer of that plugin, or you can try our WordPress plugin here: http://chitika.com/blog/wordpress/Hope this helps, please let me know if you have any other questions. Karla Thanks for the answer, Karla, I was late myself re-checking this thread. Yes, I know that the chitika ad is only visible to search engine traffic from the US / Canada ;-) I will try out your own plugin, thanks, SY
