Hi Rona -

This new targeting has been powering our Chitika | Premium ads since last May.

Basically - when a user comes to your site from a search engine, we will show an ad for whatever they typed into the search engine to find your site.

To see what your users are seeing when they come to your site, you should know what keywords drive most search engine traffic to your site, and then use our Chitika | Premium preview tool to see what types of ads come up for those keywords.

To answer your other question:

You can use our Premium ads set to show backfill for non-search traffic (you can set this up in our Premium ads code panel).  But - for you, I would not recommend this, since you will not have control over the backfill ads.
