For application developers the eminimall is the perfect way to monetize your app. For my app iBaseball, I was able to use the eMM to display ads targeted to a specific major league baseball team. Within the application each team has their own pages so I was faced with the problem of just displaying ads for the specific team and not that team's arch rival. The Multi Product Unit was just what I needed to get this done. The eMM lets me set the keywords manually, so only the team I want to show is displayed. Plus with multiple products shown at once users have a better chance of finding that must have piece of team gear.

If you have created a Facebook app, you know it is kind of a pain creating the fb:iframe to display another page with contains the ad code. On iBaseball there's 30 teams, each team has 6 pages, each page has 3 ads, so that would be roughly 540 "ad pages" I would need to create to show in the iframes. pretty time consuming, so what I did was write a display function in php, that allowed me to feed all the needed variables to the eMM code, plus create and size the fb:iframe all in one line of code. So now those 540 odd ads are created from 1 page. you can download the needed files and view the source code of the function at http://jason-ward.herbanmedia.com/2007/07/12/chitika-facebook-app-php-display-function/  All you have to do is add your chitika id to one page, and the url the ad page resides on your server on another and you are ready to go. All eMM sizes are covered and you can choose between MPU and standard ad types.
